Train to Sachsenhausen is a history-based game about the dramatic events in November 1939 when the Nazis closed Czechoslovakian universities.
Through the game, you can experience of what is was to be a student of medicine during demonstrations against the Nazi regime. You will “live through” the funeral of a student leader Jan Opletal, arrests made at university dormitories, detention at the Ruzyně prison, and afterwards deportation to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Germany.
The game also includes a virtual museum put together by professional historians. The museum contains testimonies and memories shared by actual witnesses of that chapter in history, along with period documents and photographs.
